Our Quality Code differentiates us from other networks of law firms. It was designed by us for the benefit of members and the reassurance of members and their clients. It is constantly evolving and it is important that members understand its obligations which are accepted upon joining World Link for Law. The Quality Code is code is presented below with some examples of a workshop discussion about quality issues from an earlier conference. If you need any further assistance in relation to the code, please contact Tony Firth or Wim Bulthuis, head of the Quality Committee.

Professional Indemnity (PI) insurance for lawyers is compulsory in some countries, but not in others. We encourage members to have PI insurance even where it is not required by local rules. The question of PI insurance should be considered when a matter is referred to another member. As stated in the Quality Code, it is the obligation of the referring member to ask questions about PI insurance at the time of the referral, if they think it is relevant.
