STOICA & Asociažii was set-up in November 1995, by the association of two Romanian pre-eminent lawyers, Professor Valeriu STOICA and Cristiana I. STOICA. The team has currently 35 members of whom there are almost 25 practicing highly educated lawyers acting as partners, senior associates, associates and assistants.
STOICA & Asociažii has promoted its high professional standards as a Romanian law firm in performing both litigation and advisory legal work. The clients, either Romanians or foreigners, are assisted by a strong team of lawyers, all being experienced in business law activities. Undoubtedly, STOICA & Asociažii was a pioneer in business law in the early years of its practice, considering the extensive area of legal aspects covered.
Started as a local law partnership, by its constantly enlarged and consolidated legal practice, consisting in providing an extensive advisory activity for a great number of major and medium size corporate Romanian or foreign clients combined with a very successful litigation practice, more than 50 per cent of STOICA & Asociažiis current work has an international aspect. In performing the international legal work, the two founding partners contributed, by involving their highly appreciated reputation, to the creation of strategic professional alliances with a large number of major international law firms.
The expertise and the experience of the law firm is reflected by the great number of assisted projects, including but not limited to corporate and municipal finance, mergers and acquisitions, real estate, banking, insurance, capital market, taxation, labor, intellectual property, competition, commercial contracts, arbitral and court assistance.
Romanian, English and French languages are spoken.
