Membership Obligations

  • To abide by our Quality Code (particularly with reference to member referrals and the quality and speed of response) and to note our concept of an ‘Initial Free View’ between member firms.
  • To add the World Link logo and a link on your web site to the World Link site, preferably in a relevant/prominent place.
  • To mention your membership of World Link for Law in your email sign off and other media (e.g. your firm or personal LinkedIn profile).
  • To pay the annual membership fee and conference/meeting fees (as attended) on time.
  • To provide referrals to other member firms (wherever possible) and to provide assistance/information if required for incoming referrals.
  • To introduce/recommend other law firms to be members (to the Administration Service).
  • To send at least one representative to the Annual Conference (Regional and Special Interest Group Meetings are optional).
  • To propose topics for conferences/meeting or external speakers either from your firm or known third parties.
  • To encourage partners and lawyers to join World Link groups e.g. Young Lawyers; M&A, Arbitration, Tax and their private LinkedIn groups.
  • To connect with as many World Link members as possible on LinkedIn and to follow World Link for Law on LinkedIn/Twitter and to contribute items to be forwarded or re-tweeted.
  • To respond to the Administration Service’s requests for website and other database or firm profile information.
  • To complete occasional members’ short surveys (as requested) – usually “spot research” on a particular topic concerning the Association to obtain a consensus opinion.
  • To support and work together with other members in tender opportunities.
  • To promote your membership of World Link for Law to your clients and local intermediaries.
